The situation
An unmanned store has nobody behind the till, but the office work does not go away. Somebody has to read the sales numbers for four points of sale, keep the shelves and the webshop stocked, write the articles and newsletters that bring people in, and answer customer emails. With two people, that work got squeezed. Articles went out when there was time, and the weekly numbers got a quick look rather than a proper read.
What Jenz does
- 01
Weekly reporting
Sales, cost, bestsellers, footfall and conversion for all the stores and the webshop, with what changed since last week and why.
- 02
Demand forecasting
Per SKU and per location, built on sales history, seasonality and supplier lead times. Jenz flags what will sell out before it does and drafts the reorders and pre-orders.
- 03
Catalogue from supplier lists
Jenz reads the supplier price lists, matches every line to an existing SKU or creates a new one, and updates stock, cost prices and product data in the store.
- 04
SEO strategy
Keyword research and search trends turned into a plan: which terms to rank for, which pages to build, and a content calendar that follows the season. Every month, a report on what moved.
- 05
Articles and newsletters
On a fixed schedule. The team picks the topics. Jenz writes, adds images and publishes.
- 06
Customer enquiries
First-line replies, ready for the team to send.
The result
The reporting, content and purchasing work now runs with about an hour a week from the team, mostly spent choosing topics. Some of that is time they no longer spend. Most of it is work they would never have got round to: a proper weekly analysis, and two to four articles a week, which they did not have the people for before.

“We run three unmanned stores and a webshop with two full-time staff. Jenz gives us a weekly analysis, regular content and better purchasing: work we would otherwise have had to hire for. The biggest win is not just the time, but that we make better decisions faster.”
